Designed as floating carrier for micro-organisms in wastewater treatment. The special shape of the material provides large surface area for a thin bio film and for optimal bacterial growth. The material has an excellent mechanical stability and is safe for all biological life. Diameter 12 mm, height 7 mm. Surface area 836 m²/m³. Protected surface area is 494m²/m³.
